Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your session, please give at least 24 hours notice so another patient might book the time. Your clinician will endeavour do the same if they need to reschedule.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or miss a session without an emergency, you will be charged.

If you wake up sick the day of your In-Person appointment – Do Not Come In. We can switch to Virtual or cancel last minute. Arriving In-Person with symptoms is a public health risk—you’ll be turned away and you will be charged as a Late Cancellation.

Please Note: Nova Scotia Health does not cover missed appointments.

Remember: The clinician reserves this time exclusively for you. When you miss or late cancel your appointment, it directly impacts another patient who could have used that time for their care. Consequently, you will be responsible for the fee. (This applies to Ontario clients as well).
